Walking on Water

I took this picture this afternoon down at the waterfront in Port Credit, Mississauga. It was a very foggy, chilly afternoon. A good day to be curled up with a book.

Thanks Jack! I'm not sure what happened there, well maybe I do know, I was trying to post it from yahoo photos rather than photobucket which I have been using. So it does make a difference I suppose. Anyway, it's all fixed now. Hope you didn't kick your computer too hard! ;o)

These are very atmospheric pics. I like them a lot. I must get out more with my camera! I may have a good photo opportunity coming up next week.

Leggy - It was a big Brrrrr. The temp was 4 degrees celcius but it was so damp and foggy that I was frozen stiff by the time I got back in the car. Not sure if you realize, but these geese are floating on little pieces of ice. The water is very deep where they are and they stood on those little floaters for a long, long time.

Michele - Are you from Toronto area? Or have you just visited here? That is so cool that you know of the place I am speaking of!

Brom - thank you for the compliment. I owe it to a few other bloggers for inspiring me to get out and take some pictures, Huwge; Mick; and Jackshian, who all post pictures on their blogs for us to enjoy.

I'm looking forward to seeing both some pics and the survey on your blog soon!

Brom, I'm sorry that I hadn't noticed that link before. I will certainly go over and have a peek. I love looking at pics and seeing other parts of the world, even if it is from the chair in front of my computer!
